Vacuum Rotary Evaporator Introduction
A rotary evaporator is a device used in chemical laboratories for the efficient and gentle removal of solvents from samples by evaporation. Rotary evaporation is most often and conveniently applied to separate “low boiling” solvents such as n-hexane or ethyl acetate from compounds that are solid at room temperature and pressure. However, careful application also allows the removal of a solvent from a sample containing a liquid compound if there is minimal co-evaporation (azeotropic behavior), and a sufficient difference in boiling points at the chosen temperature, and reduced pressure.
The most cost-effective model with hand lifts for all standard applications: simple structure, easy to maintain, with different condenser options, for up to 5L evaporation flask.

Application Of Essential Oil Distillation Equipment:
Rotary evaporators are mainly used for concentration, crystallization, drying, separation, and solvent recovery in medicine,
chemical, and biochemical industries. Under the vacuum condition, the rotating flask is heated at a constant temperature and can rotate at a constant speed. Then the material can form a large area of thin-film in the inner wall of the flask, evaporating efficiently. The solvent stream can be cooled by an efficient glass condenser and recycled in the receiving flask, greatly enhancing the evaporation efficiency.
